HOW TO HAVE A HEALTHY DIET

Nowadays, people are competing to know how to have the ideal body. Determining a diet plan to lose weight is certainly not easy considering that everyone has a different body type and metabolism, especially people with special needs such as autism and diabetes.

In addition to an ideal body, a healthy diet also helps in preventing several diseases such as stroke and heart disease because it lowers cholesterol levels and reduces blood pressure. Here are some tips about how to have a healthy diet:

1. Eating lots of vegetables and fruit

Vegetables and fruits provide essential vitamins and minerals, fiber, and other substances that are important for good health because they may help your body improve metabolism and subsequently burn belly fat.

But that does not mean we can eat as much as possible. The key to vegetables and fruit is to replace the calories we usually eat to reduce the levels of calories that enter our bodies. For example, we replace cake with fruit like blueberry apples, or maybe grapes for dessert.

2. DRINK A LOT OF WATER, AVOID SUGARY DRINKS

Drinking water helps you lose weight by making you feel more full, boosting your metabolism, helping your body to burn fat, reducing your intake of sugary drinks, and aiding digestion. It is also mentioned that drinking a glass of water before eating also helps to lose weight because it helps us reduce the consumption of other calories.

Based on 2016 Research, drinking a lot of water helps us in increasing the body’s metabolism and helps the lipolysis process. Avoid sugary drinks, it causes your blood sugar to rise and fall quickly. This makes you feel hungry sooner and causes you to eat more.

3. LIMITING HIGHLY AND ULTRA-PROCESSED FOODS

Processed Foods bad for diets

Unprocessed foods are foods that are eaten in their original form, without going through a certain processing process. For example, vegetables, fruits, eggs, and milk. When processed foods are foods that undergo processing, so that the shape is different from its initial form such as frozen meals, snacks and chips, soft drinks, and cakes.

Based on a previous study, people that consumed more ultra-processed foods had higher risks of cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, and cerebrovascular disease. Ultra-processed foods contain less vitamins and protein but are high in carbohydrates and fat. Limiting the intake of ultra-high processed food certainly helps us in losing weight and having a healthier diet.

4. Eating more protein foods
